Prairieland Service Dog Training (PSDT) is an owner-trainer focused service dog program based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We believe the strongest service dog teams are built through education, consistency, and a commitment to ethical training.
Our programs are designed to teach handlers how to develop a reliable service dog through personalized coaching, practical experience, and real-world training. We offer guidance in obedience, public access, task training, and problem solving, with every training plan tailored to the individual needs of both the handler and their dog.
PSDT works exclusively with owner-trainers. We do not provide fully trained service dogs, raise puppies, or offer board and train programs. We also do not provide Emotional Support Animal (ESA) training, therapy dog training, or service dog programs for minors.
Our philosophy is simple. A service dog is more than a well-trained dog. It is a highly skilled working partner whose training should reflect professionalism, responsibility, and respect for the public. We focus on building teams that are confident, reliable, and prepared for everyday life.
We understand that quality service dog training can be financially challenging. While PSDT is not a charity, we make every effort to keep our programs as accessible as possible and are happy to discuss options whenever we can.
